

Together they raised three sons: James (Jay) of Raleigh North Carolina, John of Altadena California, and Thomas (Tom) of Davis West Virginia. It was there she met her future husband, Pro- fessor of Chemistry James L. After graduation from Thomas High School, Betty enrolled at West Virginia University where she obtained B.S. She grew up in a single-parent household after her father was killed in a mining accident when she was an infant. She was born Jin Thomas West Virginia to Fred John Watson and Sallie DeLaugh- ter Watson. Betty Watson Hall Betty Watson Hall, a long-time resident of Mor- gantown, passed away of natural causes at her home in Pasadena California on Decemat the age of 95. Relda was preceded in death by her husband, LeRoy Morgan son, Allen Morgan grandson, Chad Davis three sisters and two brothers. She is survived by her children, Charlene Davis and David (Diane) Knotts grandchildren, Jason (Bevin) Davis, Joshua Davis and Tiffany (Bill) Lawrence great-grandchildren, Keira, Alec, Sara, David, Jacob, Devin, Eric, Nicholas and Mikaila and great, great-grandchildren, Sebastian, Scarlett, Zoey and Zaydence. She loved spending time with her family and making memories. Her feisty personality was evident to all who knew her. Soaring Eagle was a favor- ite and she would often go with her family. In her free time, Relda enjoyed going to the casinos and playing the slot machines. Relda had a strong work ethic and never missed a scheduled day of work at any of her jobs and her employers appreciated her commitment to the job. Relda went on to work for Bio-Lab in Adrian and retired after twenty plus years of service. She loved working at the Tip Top and visit- ing with all the “regulars”. It was the Tip Top restaurant in Adrian that brought Relda to Michigan. She attended school in her hometown and graduated from Parsons High School. Relda was born on April 28, 1934, in Parsons, West Vir- ginia to Wilber and Grace Knotts.
